On October 12, 2022, siblings NIla (23) and Paree (21) Puvanendran lost their lives, and their mother, Srirathy Shanmuganathan, was critically injured in a crash at Markham Road and Elson Street and died later at the hospital. Their father, Poobalasingam Poovandren, turned this pain into a mission: to make roads safer for everyone.
